MosBuild is the largest trade event in Russia and focuses on the nation’s dynamic building and interiors industry. The 2009 event was held from 31st March to 3rd April at Moscow’s two premier exhibition venues, Expocentre and Crocus Expo.

The event was established in 1995 and celebrated its 15th edition this year. Even the backdrop of a challenging global economic climate did nothing to suppress the interest and enthusiasm for business in the Russian building and interiors market. A record number of people pre-registered to attend MosBuild 2009 and over 90,000 visited one or both venues.

International Event Manager, Darryl Pawsey commented. “Many of our regular exhibitors were very pleasantly surprised at the number of visitors and the amount of activity in the market this year. You would have to go a long way to find a better case study for the value of trade exhibitions when markets undergo change. MosBuild was packed with visitors, many of whom were looking for new suppliers. The feedback from our exhibitors was very encouraging. Even in a so called difficult year, this exhibition has delivered valuable business opportunities and has exceeded the expectations of its participants”.

The 16th edition of MosBuild will be held at Expocentre and Crocus Expo from 6th to 9th April 2010.]
